Work experience:

October 1 st 2017 to present

Center manager & social worker at DIGC NGO/ UNFPA project/Duhok

Responsibilities:

– Meeting closely with IDPs, Refugees and Host Community families and individuals in Sharya Camp Area.

– Using the conversational way for dealing with families as being psychosocial we were using the listening and relaxation method to take care of the men and women groups and sections.

– Creating and conducting Recreational activities for IDP and Refugees such as (painting, drawing, football, Games…Etc.

–  Conducting awareness sessions courses about several subjects such as (Mines protection, GBV and SGBV…etc.)

 –  Preparing weekly reports, focusing on IDPs and refuges cases attendance Numbers, and mentioning urgent cases.

– Documenting and saving reports in Database and using administrative tools.

–  Offering general information and counseling support to the people of concern and making referrals necessarily.

–  Work with the Program Manager to handle case management.

– participating and attending Organization’s monthly and weekly meetings and trainings for the latest updates

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing psychological interviews and trainings with IDPs
  • Supporting IDPs psychologically.
  • Group meetings in Camps and non-camps.
  • Reporting referral cases to the higher management.
  • Directing women and children related to GBV or SGBV in Camps or even outside.

Data Collector at UNHCR/ Duhok

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting Data prom IDPs in Camp, non-Camps and villages.
  • Making assessments through phone calls to IDPs according to our tasks and responsibilities.
  • Making Statistics on all the Data we collect from IDPs based on Gender, Head of Household, place … etc.
  • Making weekly meetings and trainings about the latest results and putting new goals to be achieved.
  • Using required tools, Software and forms for making assessments and statistics.

Working as a psychological teacher during my implementation period in Cherisk high school

Responsibilities:

  • Directing students and children related to GBV or SGBV in school or even outside.
  • Taking lessons to the students how to deal with their Psychological situations personally and environmentally.

  • Showing them the best ways & cure practically and naturally.
